About me
My name is U, Pui Si, my english is Racey, my colleagues of Les Roches always call me Racey U; they call me in this way because my surename - U is interesting, it is only comprised by one letter, which is a rare surename in western countries. However, it brings me some difficulties when I do reservation online such as booking flight tickets, reserving hotel rooms or applying examinations...etc, because I am always asked for type in a surename with minimum two letters, so I will type UU instead of U, and finally people will ask the reason why my surename in their system is different with my passport, so I would need to explain. Regarding to my name - Racey, it is interesting as well. I was asked by some guests when I was working in a hotel, ' do you like race very much?', actually, I do not like race....
I come from Macao, which is now named as Eastern Las Vegas. Macao now has been establishing more and more Casinos, Hotels and Resorts, I am a graduated of Institute for Tourism Studies (Specialization in Hotel Management), Macao and am currently a MBA student in Les Roches international school of hotel management, Switzerland, studying in MBA in Hospitality Management (Specialization in Marketing), the course will be completed in December, 2009 and will be back to Macao after course completion.
The reason why I came to Switzerland to pursue my MBA degree is because Hotel Management is very well known in Switzerland, and Les Roches is a top three hotel management school in the world as well. Since Macao do not have many talents in Hotel industry, whilst there has been more and more Casinos, Hotels and Resorts establishing, I would like to contribute my knowledge which learnt from Les Roches, Switzerland to Macao's hotel industry, to make it as successful as Les Vagas.
